NOTES FROM YOUR COACH: Last week we agreed to do another month together. And you're going to prove to yourself that you can do this! And you're willing to 'pay the price' for the success you want. So that's daily workouts - 20 minutes in the morning first thing when you get up. If Rich is with you great, if not great. No excuses... just results! By the time that wedding comes at the end of December you're going to be feeling fit, slimmer, confident, happy and proud, and will have proved to yourself that YOU CAN DO IT! and that You Deserve It!!! Here are some of the most important things to keep in mind: 1) Why you're doing this! Keep your goals in front of you, and look at them regularly. Remind yourself of WHY it's important to you - because it is!! 2) Being organised and setting yourself up for success. Prep the night before, have the workout you're going to do ready to hand, have some water by your bed, have your food prepped for the next days, have your workout clothes there ready to put on. Make it easy to succeed. 3) Give yourself what you need! Whatever that is. Especially during down time. If you need rest then rest! TV etc might be the easy option but it's not giving you what you need alot of the time, so pamper yourself when you get the chance, and then when you don't, don't worry about it. 🙂 4) Remember, when you think of snacking... it's Excuses or Results you're going to have... choose one! And forever more shut the fuck up about it because YOU CHOSE IT! 5) Love yourself! You're amazing, and you should take time to appreciate that. Enjoy the little moments because this is your real live and you're living it right now, one breath at a time. 6) Let Go of Control. Just accept things. Be Water my friend. And go with the flow. It's ok not to know, it's ok not to have everything planned out and it's ok to accept that it's not all your responsibility. So breathe, let go and flow forward effortlessly. NOTES FROM YOUR COACH: It's all about becoming comfortable with yourself. Accepting who you are and learning to trust that. Letting go of the need for external validation, confirmation or recognition and instead turning your eyes inwards and finding that within your self. Realise that you are good enough just as you are. And let go of the need to try and force the world to be a certain way, see you a certain way or deliver any certainty to you. Acceptance is key for you Tim. It's about loving yourself, accepting yourself. Notice any signs of internal resistance to trusting your own thoughts or actions, or wanting others approval, confirmation or validation etc. Ask yourself, why is my own decision not enough. Learning to trust yourself and your own worth allows you the ability to choose and enforce your boundaries, with yourself and with others. Find the voice in your mind that is yours. Identify yourself and identify the voices of those that have conditioned you over the years. And when you know which is your voice, reclaim mastery over your house and allow your guests that have taken many years of free rent to leave. This is your homework: Keep doing what you're doing - you're doing well! Get the cleaner that's coming to schedule in the day they are going to come for 3 hours. And with the help of your home help and your own getting stuck in, get the living room cleaned and tidied for your visitors next Friday. Realise what that will mean to you! And be aware. NOTES FROM YOUR COACH: We've been talking mostly about boundaries and deciding for yourself what you want and then creating that on purpose. You've been creating your list of must haves and can't haves for relationships, and looking at what you get and need from them. It's time to start learning how to get these things from yourself, without seeking externally. Then the joy of others becomes a welcome addition, rather than a necessary feature for your happiness. Being present in the moment. Your stories can not survive the present, they can only be lived out in a past that has already gone or a fictional future. But here and now there is no space for any of these worries, concerns or ideas. Practice mindfullness and being here and now. Even in small amounts at first. What you're 'attracting' into your life (in terms of men, or anything else) stems from what boundaries you have and how you enforce them. When you realise your own value and you don't NEED anyone else, then you can enforce your boundaries. Teaching people how they can and can't behave around you. And you will 'attract' people that look after and care for you better, because you are looking after and caring for yourself better. Remember Kindness and Weakness are NOT the same thing. You can be strong and kind, respectful and firm. Take time each morning to think of positive things. What makes you happy and what you are grateful for. Start to retrain your mind to go to good places. Create a highway to happiness that's easy to jump on at any time. [/O_U]
