Hello and welcome to Day 9 and the start of our second week of step ups. This week we're going to be looking at your exercise routines, but don't worry we're not going to forget about your diet! 🙂
Make sure you're still keeping up your stretch goal and noting down what comes up resistance wise and taking time out to look at it and resolve it.
So now we're going to add in exercise as well, it's a little bit like learning to juggle one ball and then adding in a second. If you drop the first ball, but because taking on two tasks at once compared to just one is a step up in and of itself. So, bear that in mind this week and be aware of it just like any other level of resistance.
But let's get into the exercise side of things. In the workbook today you'll find a workout diary to fill in and list out your current exercise routine using the last week. Then compare it to your current goals and think about what you need to change to reach them.
Tomorrow we're going to be giving you some basic information on what kind of exercises are best for achieving what results, but you might also like to take today to research more about what training is best for you.
So go to the worksheet in your workbook and get started on bringing your focus and awareness to your exercise over the next 24 hours.
To help you with that you might like to do the quick 10-minute fitness test that you did on day 1, you can do it anywhere, all you need is 10 minutes and a small area of space.
You can write down your results in your day 1 worksheet as an extra part of your starting position, so you can see if there's been any difference just by what you've started doing in the first week. And again at the end of the challenge we're going to see how much you've improved!
