Hello and welcome to Day 17!
And today we're going to build on what we did yesterday. In the Body Relationship track you got to look at what you love and what you hate about your body and perhaps even yourself. And you also had the opportunity to consider what it would be like if you truly loved every single part of you.
So today we're going to take that a step further and start beginning to transform your perspective about yourself. Today is the day you're going to start to fall in love with yourself all over again. In fact what we're going to begin today is so powerful that even if you did nothing else in this entire course except this one thing, every day for one minute, your entire life would change beyond all recognition.
What are we going to do today? Today we're going to start your "I Love Me" list.
It's exactly what it sounds like and it's just as easy. In the download you can print off your "I Love Me" list.
And all you have to do today is fill out the first 10 times on the list. 10 reasons why you like, love or are proud of yourself. They can be big, small, whatever it doesn't really matter.
This essentially is a list of compliments to you from you about you! And just as with a compliment someone else gives you, there's no compliment you can give yourself that's too small or silly. They all count, so it can be as inane as "I like that I have blonde hair" or some small deed such as "I love that I helped that old lady across the street" or something huge like "I'm proud that I rescued 1,000 orphans from a burning building single-handedly" or anything in between!
In fact, the only rule is You have to get the credit. So "I love my family" doesn't count, but "I love how I act around my family" does.
So that's it. 10 simple reasons why you like, love or are proud of yourself.
Write them down and then stick them up somewhere you're going to see them every day, like your bedroom or bathroom mirror and each day read them out loud while looking yourself in the eyes and making sure you take in each point.
And then each day add just one more thing to the list.
In 90 days you'll have 100 reasons why you like love or are proud of yourself. In a year you'll have 375 reasons why you're awesome being repeated to you daily.
The biggest change you can make is loving yourself more. This is the simplest and most powerful tool you can use to make that happen.
So get started – and realise just how incredible you really are!
